Your Questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT BOTOX AND ITS EFFECT
WHAT IF MY BOTOX DOESN'T HOLD?
Too short a duration may be due to rapid metabolism, intense physical activity or insufficient dosage. A light touch-up after 15 days often prolongs the effect.
CAN BOTOX AND HYALURONIC ACID BE COMBINED?
Yes, these two aesthetic medicine treatments are perfectly complementary and can be carried out in the same session, provided they are performed by an experienced physician. Botox acts on facial muscles to relax expression lines (forehead, crow's feet, frown lines), while hyaluronic acid fills lost volume or reshapes the oval of the face. The combination of these two products produces a harmonious, more natural and longer-lasting overall result, with no risk of interaction between the two.
HOW DOES BOTOX AGE THE SKIN?
Skin ages more slowly, as the repetitive movements responsible for wrinkles are reduced. Botox does not prevent natural aging, but slows its progress.
ARE TOUCH-UPS ALWAYS NECESSARY?
Not always. A touch-up can be useful when the result is asymmetrical, when certain areas have reacted less to the botulinum toxin, or if the Botox has spread unevenly. It helps achieve a more even, natural effect. It is generally performed 15 days after the first injection, if necessary.
WHAT IS TRAP TOX OR BARBIE BOTOX?
Barbie Botox, or TrapTox, involves injecting botulinum toxin into the trapezius muscles, located between the neck and shoulders. The aim is to relax this muscular area to visually refine the neck and create a more slender, feminine effect, hence the name. This aesthetic trend, which originated in the United States, requires great medical precision due to the dosage and areas involved.
It is not performed by Dr Djian, who concentrates exclusively on Botox injections of the face for aesthetic and natural purposes.
