HYALURONIC ACID AND BOTULINUM TOXIN INJECTIONS
The aesthetic medicine is a specialty in its own right.
It helps to slow down the effects of ageing, thanks in particular to injections of botulinum toxin or’hyaluronic acid.
Before any aesthetic medicine procedure, an initial consultation is necessary. It allows us to take stock of the situation and define the areas that the patient wishes to reshape: dark circles, forehead wrinkles (baby botox), volume losses in the cheekbones, digging nasolabial folds, face oval.
Depending on requirements, one or more syringes may be needed. Injections can be given over several sessions.
Injections are best performed by a plastic surgeon. Aesthetic surgeons know the different muscles of the face inside out. So, after an injection performed by a surgeon, you'll have little or no bruising. You'll be able to resume your activities immediately after the injections.
HYALURONIC ACID or BOTULIC TOXIN?
THE BOTOX
Botulinum toxin, more commonly known as «botulinum toxin« Botox »is intended for injections into the upper third of the face for the treatment of expression lines forehead, crow's-feet and lion wrinkles.
You would like to treat deep wrinkles, a sagging skin or fine lines around the eyes... Almost all signs of facial aging can be corrected with botox injections. For those who don't want to go through the « plastic surgery »for their anti-ageing care and anti-wrinkle, botox is the solution!
HYALURONIC ACID
The acid hyaluronic is a dermal filler, naturally present in our body.
As it ages, the facial skin loses part of its hyaluronic acid and skin slackening is observed: the skin sags and wrinkles.
Hyaluronic acid injections are performed on the middle and lower thirds of the face. A hyaluronic acid injection helps restore volume and fill in wrinkles or hollows. Hyaluronic acid is commonly used to treat nasolabial folds, cheekbones and the oval of the face. Hyaluronic acid injections can also be used to increase lip volume or to fill the hollows of dark circles and the valley of tears.
There are no known allergies to botox or hyaluronic acid.
